The XCERTS - Slackerpop

The first single from the new Xcert’s album landed at SP towers this week and it doesn’t disappoint. The follow up to critically acclaimed album “In The Cold Wind We Smile” see’s the band adopt an earthier, almost early 90’s grunge, sound.

“Slackerpop” see’s the boy’s team up with Mike Sapone, the man behind just bands as Brand New and Public Enemy. This move has not stripped away any of the bands youthful exuberance though and throughout the single you can hear their Scottish twang pushing through.

Hurry up and get the album out boys. Oh and come do a proper Scottish tour.
