Party Season- Advice For All Shapes
The party season is finally coming up, which means that party dresses will be everywhere! So if you buy one thing this season, it has to be the dress which makes you stand out from the crowd at this year’s Christmas/New Year’s Eve party. But not to worry, we at Studentpunch have got your outfit sussed out, for every body shape of course!
Curvy
If you’re curvy, then there’s nothing else you need to do than to embrace them! A v-neck dress will accentuate your curves perfectly. But the key element is to keep it subtle- showing off too much cleavage is a big no-no! So if you’re going for a deep cleavage, try to keep the rest relatively covered up; you don’t want to send out the wrong message (unless you’re on a mission of course). The chosen outfit will do exactly what you want it to- show off your amazing curves, but still keep some mystery. This strapless dress will accentuate your cleavage while the wedges add some class to your outfit.
Boyish frame
If you’ve got a boyish frame, it means you’re relatively quite petite and do not have a lot of curves. In this situation, what you should try to do is to accentuate your curves and avoid a v-neckline- it will make your cleavage look a lot smaller than it actually is! An emperor line however will emphasize your natural curves. That is why the chosen dress would be perfect for you- it will make your boobs look bigger and the tightness of the skirt will put the emphasis on your hips. Match the dress with the cute lace bow shoes and you will be centre of attention for sure!
Pear
With a pear shape, women have a relatively slimmer upper torso and bigger hips. But not to worry: with this chosen outfit you’ll make the best of your body shape! For those who are pear shaped, the key when buying the perfect dress is to draw all the attention up top; wearing a dress with ruffles at the front will give your bust more volume and will draw the attention away from your hips. This floaty dress will create volume near your bust and the bow will make your body look more proportionate. Very feminine, yet sexy! Also, make sure to wear your hair up to fully bring out the earrings.
