Halloween Nights - Glasgow
Can anyone guess what’s happening this weekend? Here’s a clue, from a clubbing perspective it’ll be a treat, or a very upsetting trick! Yup, Halloween is upon us this Sunday. Therefore, this week we are being treated/tricked with many ‘Spooky’ club nights. Starting with Juicy Tuesday at Kushion and ending next Monday with Garage’s Day of the Dead (which I actually like as a Halloween Hangover hair of the dog). But rather than discuss every Halloween event over the week I’d rather just offer advice for where to go on All Hallow’s Eve in Glasgow.
Let’s be honest, every club is open and desperate for our pennies so it would be wise to pre-plan. As somewhat of a club snob I have to say Classrooms and Campus are definite no’s! They’re not worth visiting on a normal Sunday so why should this one be different? It’s not!
To me there are 3 options. Bamboo, which is generally the busiest place most Sundays; Octopussy, which is moving to ABC for the night; or the good old Garage. Each of them will be ridiculously queued and annoyingly busy so the decision is tough. Bamboo on Bank Holiday’s is normally disgustingly busy, and I can see this Sunday being exactly the same, so if your wanting to head down make sure your there early.
My decision will lie between Octo and Garage, I think both will be amazing and will be stuffed with people in outrageous and ingenious costumes! I would highly recommend you hit up one of these two, but wherever you go, go early!
Hopefully you will see me dancing my costumed socks off, Happy Halloween my fellow Trick or Treaters!
(if your up before 3 on Sunday check out the annual Glasgow Zombie walk)
