About Us

StudentPunch.com is the brainchild of Cally Russell. Cally is a recent graduate who decided he wanted to give something back. With this in mind he has created StudentPunch.com, with lots of help from friends and family it must be said.

StudentPunch.com aims to create a one-stop shop/guide for students in Scotland. It will include everything from the best deals around, interviews with top bands, reviews of everything that is happening in student land, top fashion tips and a lot more in between.

Students write StudentPunch.com almost entirely and you can meet them below. There are a lot of them but they will all be contributing to the magazine in some way. It’s not too late to get involved so if you fancy joining the team give us a shout.

Make sure you join the mailing list, or the facebook page, and suggest us to all your friends as the more people who join our community the better the deals we can get for you all.

Bethany Anderson

Bethany is 23 and is close to finishing her MLitt in Creative Writing at Glasgow University. She has recently finished her first novel and has made a start on a second. She is an avid reader and book reviewer, and therefore spends most of her time on the sofa with tea and chocolate. Bethany lives in Edinburgh.

Hi, I’m Leonie, and I’m currently studying Journalism at Cardiff University! I have a definite ‘passion for fashion’ (even though I hate how corny that sounds), and I’m known for rather spending my last couple of pounds on magazines than on food. I’ll be writing some of the fashion-related articles, through which I hope to inspire you all (or if you’re bored, to provide some simple entertainment!).

Everybody enjoys a good lash-up and a little boogie and I’m doing as much as I can at uni before I ‘grow-up’.
