After selling 2 million copies of debut album We Started Nothing and 4 million singles, things were looking pretty good for the Ting Tings. But after four years away recording across most of Europe and scraping a whole album in the process, the release of the band’s follow up, Sounds from Nowheresville, finds the band in a much different place and with a revamped sound. So, has the wait been worth it?
It is not so much a reminder as it is a warning, when we say that you should never confuse All the Saints with nineties girl group All Saints as it is likely fans of one will find little to like with the other. Dance-pop people turn away, there is little for you here.
